We posted a couple pieces from Rose's Fall collection available online at La Garconne and have since been searching high and low for more info on the, what we assumed to be new, label. Hurray, our hard work has payed off. Rose was created in 2007 by two la stylists who describe their collection as embodying romance, resilience and ease. Lookbook: Lizzie Fortunato
My liking for bold statement jewelry is like fine wine, it gets better with age. That, and it's more than likely directly effected by the trends. With that said, I'm loving the loud, chunky and reminiscent fall collection from Lizzie Fortunato. An intricate array of badges, bows, beads, rosettes and pom poms make for an incredibly detailed and fun collection. The Fortunato twins (Lizzie and Kathryn) mix vintage elements like ribbon and antique etched poker chips(circa 1890) with newer materials like hand sewn chiffon and round brass chains to create a subtle nod to the past with a strong yearning forward. F-Troupe: Spring '08
I'm a sucker for a good pair of flats, and F-Troupe covers all my criteria...they had me at hello...ever since I first laid eyes on a pair. F Troupe hails from the UK and have been making shoes for over five years, this spring being their 10th season, which just arrived at La Garconne. The collection is pretty directional as a whole, pointing the right way. An added bonus: the prices are phenomenal.
