I must admit, I have this itsy bitsy teeny weeny, deeply rooted "rustic" edge that seems to materialize from time to time. Every since kurt cobain and eddie vedder wore them around their waist, I've been obsessed with flannels. Once I wore robert's(this guy I had a crush on in the eight grade) flannel for three days straight, just to get closer to him. My boyfriend even claims to have "broughten back" the flannel as a fashion staple. haha. Regardless of how its made the trek back into our closets, the flannel and whole "granola" thing is here for fall. From Phillip Lim, to Rachel Comey, Dace, Mociun and Borne, designers are finding a way to incorporate that rustic/woodsy/grungy element into their fall collections.
