Carin Rodebjer has been designing clothes since 1998, and began Rodebjer after someone spotted her wearing her own designs on the streets of NY. Funny how often that happens. Lets just hope that if I (or any of you) ever start their own label, the same thing occurs. I'm a Rodebjer fan for a few reasons. First, I love how Rodebjer manages to marry both progressive and fashion forward aesthetics, with a casual/romantic sort of elegance not normally found in the former. In sum, her designs are edgy yet lovely. Secondly, I love the hint of darkness she incorporates into each piece, as well as into this A/W '08 lookbook. Thirdly, I love that Rodebjer is Swedish, yet another designer to add to my favorites. Shop Rodebjer online at Pixie Market.
