'Concept' and 'Pop-Up' Stores seems to be poping up all around lately. I am very intrigued by the idea of a constantly rotating storefront; what's better than a here today, gone tomorrow boutique sprouting up every two months? Well, Los Angeles has joined the ranks; New High (M)art is a new concept store in Los Angeles' Chinatown. Their first concept was a Brian Lichtenberg Pop-Up Store and they're now featuring a Grey Ant Pop-Up Store through the end of January.

I love the idea of a pop-up store. shopgoldyn.com is a new biz that launched late last year. For the launch, they opened a pop-up store for ten days in Denver, upping Denver's hip quotient.
I helped shopgoldyn.com with their brand awareness in Denver. Pop-ups are great for brand awareness and identity as well as testing brands or merchandise on the public.
The Goldyn girls plan on popping up seasonally, which includes store fronts, fashion shows or other events. Check out their site to see photos from their first pop up...it was here in September 2007 and gone in early October 2008.
