Humanoid was founded in the Netherlands in 1981 and has since been gaining praise consistently over the past 26 years. The collection amazes me for a number of reasons; the artistic collaboration behind the line, the sense of community it evokes, the use of fabric, the draping, the shape, the comfort and ease. I'm a pretty casual girl and believe wholeheartedly that one can simultaneosly be casual and progressive. In celebration of their landmark 26 year milestone, Humanoid, along with editor Giene Steenman put together a coffee table book. I got my hands(briefly I may add) on a copy, but I couldn't keep it, it wasn't mine. From what I could gather, the book is just as amazing as the collection. Does anyone know if the book is officially out yet, and if so, where one can find a copy?
