I'm being chased by Christmas, its already the 7th, ahhhhh, 18 days till Christmas, Hanukkah is in full effect, and Starbucks started serving red cups a month ago. My inbox is overwhelmed with wonderful emails about Christmas promotions, its pretty exciting. Here are three things that come to mind when contemplating your gift giving, and receiving :
When buying for friends or family that love boutiques, fashion and originality: keep in mind that most boutiques offer gift certificates, in any amount you want. Most sites offer them online, so they are merely a click away.
Many boutiques are offering Christmas wish lists this season, or offer them all year long online. If it isn't advertised, just call up your favorite shop and ask them to make you a personal wish list and then tell your loved ones, that if they buy you a gift, you picked out some of your favorites. Don't worry, this is not tacky. They just want to give you a gift that makes you happy.
Visit your favorite online boutiques and see what kind of holiday promotion they are offering. For example, La Garconne has a wonderful holiday gift guide up, and I love shop teamed up with Poupette(maker of clever and adorable jewelry) to offer personalized necklaces. Just send in a picture, profile, secret saying, and they will whip one up.
oh, and when shopping for me, just shoot me an email and I will send you a link to all 20 of my wish lists, stylebite@gmail.com

Hey, love your Christmas pressie tips, and thought I'd share one with you...I recently saw the limited edition Fuel For Life fragrance by Diesel - it's interesting how fragrances are now picking up on the vintage trend. The fragrance comes packaged in a leather or antique lace pouch, or wrapped in gilded chains for that extra special person.. thought you should hear about it first!
