I think I've said this before, but, as a buyer, I get bombarded daily with requests from new designers to view their collections. And sadly, more often than not, the collections are pretty bad. I know, sounds harsh, but its true. Half the time new designers don't even know a thing about the stores they are pitching to. With that said, there are those diamonds in the rough; the designers that are just right on and really present a strong collection that fits. Coley Claire is one of those few. Co-designer Amy McCormick approached me with and adorable collection; one that fits. With Spring '08 as their sophmore season; I predict we will be seeing a lot of this design duo to come.
